Library Catalog > Access eResources via the library's catalog. You may wish to limit your search by "ebooks" to help narrow your results. Once you've found a book, click through its "read or download..." link to access. If off-campus, you will be prompted to enter in your last name and library barcode.

Research Guides

Commentaries

eBook Bible Commentaries > Many major commentary series (but not all) are available in electronic format. The library maintains a list of recommended commentary series available as eBooks. Alternatively, search the library catalog by the commentary series name and book of the Bible (e.g., this format: Berit Olam Leviticus) to find a particular book.

Exegesis Research Guide > View the library's libguide on exegesis resources. This guide highlights many reference materials to aid in interpreting scriptural texts.

Journal Articles

ATLA Religion Database > journal articles are available through this search box on the library's catalog. Look for the "PDF Full Text" links to access articles.

Search Journals by Scripture Citation > You can search for journal articles by scripture passage in the ATLA Religion Database. Choose "Advanced search" and then at the top menu, choose "scriptures" to begin navigating to a particular book, chapter, and verse.
